Foundation Fitness is a five week programme designed to improve young peoples awareness of their overall fitness and heath covering a wide range of topics which are linked to the following National Curriculum areas; Physical Education, PSHE, Science and English.

During the course of the five weeks, children will be encouraged to take part in verbal debates and discussions among themselves and also as a class, as well as being given various worksheets and tools to aid them in the completion of the course.

Over the five weeks the following areas will be covered:

  • Healthy Eating, Diet, Food Groups etc.
  • Exercise,Keeping Active, methods of exercise
  • Hygiene, Personal & Physical Health
