Get To Know Us Vacancies Vacancy - Community Participation Manager Are you passionate about sport and its ability to positively impact people’s lives? Stevenage FC Foundation is seeking a highly motivated, enthusiastic and committed individual to take up a key role within its expanding community programme. The Foundation is looking to appoint a Community Participation Manager to lead, manage and develop a number of community-based projects including Premier League Kicks, holiday football camps, pay & play, walking football, active tots and other football related projects. As well as linking their own projects to other key Foundation projects including Premier League Girls and all school-based projects. Job Title: Community Participation Manager Reports To: Head of Foundation Location: Based at Stevenage FC Foundation office, The Lamex Stadium, Broadhall Way, Stevenage, SG2 8RH. Travel to various locations across Stevenage and Hertfordshire is involved Contract: 40 Hours Per Week. Due to the nature of the post late night, weekend, match day and bank holiday work may be necessary Salary: circa £20,000 per annum Job Purpose To lead on all community engagement, football development and matchday projects creating opportunities for participants to make positive choices to lead active and healthy lifestyles. The role forms part of the Foundation’s senior management team, with the expectation to support the Head of Foundation with the strategic direction of the charity. A suitable candidate would experience of managing and developing football participation programmes, including a proven track record of generating income from football related activities, managing and working with budgets and be able to demonstrate partnership working from previous roles. Experience of working in youth engagement and using football as a tool to engage with hard to reach areas of the community and leading a team to utilise seed funding to create sustainable projects delivered against predetermined key performance indicators is desirable.
