Stevenage FC Foundation in partnership with Stevenage Borough Council and Active Herts are delighted to announce a new weekly class, starting on Wednesday 19th April, for young children to give sport a go for the very first time or improve their confidence and physical literacy.

Funded by the SoActive programme, the weekly sessions will take place at Bedwell Community Centre (SG1 1NA) and are split between two 45 minutes sessions, that children can take part in for just £1 per week!

From 10:00am till 10:45am children aged 2-3 years old will get the chance to enjoy fun games and activities to teach them fundamental skills for an active and healthy lifestyle. At 11am it is the turn of children aged 3-4 years old and coaches will focus on developing children's coordination, balance, ball-movement and confidence when taking part in sport.

Community & Welfare Manager, Daryl Smith said:

We're delighted to be launching Active Tots in Stevenage in partnership with Active Herts and Stevenage Borough Council. The Foundation aims to give anyone the chance to realise their potential and we hope these sessions act as a great first step for the youngest people in Stevenage to get active

Sessions will run in 8 week blocks and spaces are limited to ensure that coach to child ratios of 1:8 are maintained at all times.
