Active Tots - Active Parks Programme This summer we will be partnering up with Stevenage Borough Council to deliver our Active Tots sessions outdoors, as part of the Councils Active Parks programme that will run from 25th June - 1st September. Active Tots is a tailored programme designed to encourage familiarity and confidence within the field of physical activity. It provides both boys and girls aged 2, 3 and 4 with an introduction to sport, using fun games and activities to teach the sport's primary skills. Coaches pay particular focus on developing children's coordination, balance, ball movement, and self-confidence. Other partner agencies will also be delivering sessions in parks throughout the summer, that will largely be for families and young children and older adults. Aswell as Active Tots, there will be a variety of different classes on offer including pilates, introduction to outdoor exercises, tai chi, family yoga and BootyFit classes. All will take place at different times in parks across Stevenage, including St Nicholas Park, Shephalbury Park, Hampson Park, Ridlins Park and Fairlands Valley Park. Active Tots will be delivered every: Monday: Ridlins, 9.30-10.30am Tuesday: Hampson Park, 9.30-10.30am Friday: St Nicholas Park, 9.30-10.30am £3 a session.
