Gambia Trip A Huge Success

Whilst the first team secured Football League status for another season against Bristol Rovers, 19 Foundation volunteers were flying back from a hugely successful week in The Gambia.

Led by former Stevenage FC midfielder, Neil Trebble the group spent a week installing solar panels in two villages to give them electricity for the first time as well as spending the day at a local orphanage building bunk beds so the local children have somewhere to sleep at night.

A big thank you to everyone who donated to this amazing trip and well done to all the volunteers for their remarkable work in The Gambia.
