Golf Day Places Still Available
Our annual charity golf day at Stevenage Golf Centre in Aston is picking up pace but spaces are still available for teams of 3 or individuals to enter for just £40 each.

The day aims to raise money from the Foundation’s work with 5-11 year olds in both an education and community setting.

Each player will receive breakfast on arrival, 18 holes of golf with a Stevenage FC First Team player or member of staff as well as a hot buffet to recover from your round.

There will be additional opportunities to win on the day with a nearest the pin, longest drive and a chance to beat the pro on a Par 3 hole, all sitting alongside the team and individual stableford competitions.

You can book your place on the golf day online just go to www.stevenagefcfoundation.com/Pages/Events/ & stay up to date on social media using #SFCFGolf

Great Start For Kicks Project
On Friday 17th March, our Premier League Kicks project kicked off at Marriotts School and 53 young people from across Stevenage got the chance to turn up, socialise with friends and play football in a safe and relaxed environment for free. The Kicks programme looks to help create safe and stronger communities as well as increase young people’s participation in sport.

Kicks Coordinator, Ozzie Willis said “We’re humbled by the support from young people that attend the session and the feedback we received from parents. I’m very excited and looking forward to building the project from here and moving reaching out to new venues in coming weeks.”

If you’d like to know more about the Kicks programme, please go to www.stevenagefcfoundation.com/kicks or email Ozzie via [email protected]

Active Tots To Launch In April
Stevenage FC Foundation in partnership with Stevenage Borough Council and Active Herts are delighted to announce a new weekly class, starting on Wednesday 19th April, for young children to give sport a go for the very first time or improve their confidence and physical literacy.

Funded by the SoActive programme, the weekly sessions will take place at Bedwell Community Centre (SG1 1NA) and are split between two 45 minute sessions, that children can take part in for just £1 per week!

From 10:00am till 10:45am children aged 2-3 years old will get the chance to enjoy fun games and activities to teach them fundamental skills for an active and healthy lifestyle. At 11am it is the turn of children aged 3-4 years old and coaches will focus on developing children's coordination, balance, ball-movement and confidence when taking part in sport.
