1st Kicks Session Announced At Marriotts School

The Foundation are excited to announce that we have recently received funding from one of the Premier Leagues flagship community programmes, to provide a variety of sports sessions within the local area targeting young people aged 8-19.

Working with our partners to help create safe and stronger communities, the programme also looks to promote and increase participation in sport within the area, as well as providing opportunities for volunteering, work experiences, qualifications and employment.

Kicks sessions are taking place at Marriotts 3G Astroturf every Friday 7-9pm. Just turn up, play and be a part of our brand new adventure into the community.

As the programme develops we will be looking for young people to represent us at competitions and tournaments against other professional clubs Kicks programmes.

Stay tuned using #SFCFKicks as more sessions will be announced soon.

Four Home Games Remaining For Matchday Packages & Mascots

There are just four home games left this season but there are still a few spaces left for young fans to be a mascot or take part in one of our matchday packages.

Matchday packages can include a one hour coaching session at The Academy with Foundation coaches, followed by the chance to take a penalty on the hallowed Lamex turf, tickets in the West Stand to watch the match and a complimentary packed lunch for all children that attend.

These packages start at £15 per child and all bookings require a minimum of 10 children and maximum of 20 children per package.

Being a mascot is a great way to experience a VIP day at The Lamex. The mascot will get a unique look behind the scenes and meet all their heroes in the dressing room as well as warming up on the pitch before the game. Mascot packages are available for home and away games and include a packed lunch, complimentary tickets for the mascot and one adult with the option to purchase additional tickets for other family members and a Stevenage FC Foundation goodie bag.

To cap it all off, the mascot will walk out with the players at the beginning of the game and take part in the pre match fair play handshake.

Mascot packages have been reduced for the 2016/17 season and are now just £100!

You can find out all about our matchday activity by visiting our website - Click Here, or you can contact the office on 01438 223 223 (Option 6), or email us at [email protected]
